Why travel?For most, travel is about new experiences. Collecting memories and experiencing pleasure. Whether such behavior is anywhere near reasonable is debatable. Besides, the spreading of English and the western way of life has diminished the differences between the environments around the globe. Should there be any value in travelling, it must arise from helping the inhabitants of different nations to understand each other. We are inclined to fear the unknown, so becoming familiar with the customs of our neighbourghs can reduce tensions and forge new friendships.
